Since 1979, the MoveIt Companies have shown a consistent dedication to making a difference in the communities where we live, work and do business. We firmly believe that those who succeed should give back to their communities.

We support those in need by sponsoring numerous local and national non-profit organizations. Our employees and their families are active partners in these endeavors by volunteering their time and giving generously to make a positive difference.

United Way We have a long-standing relationship with United Way. United Way is a dedicated to addressing the needs of local communities, with a focus on helping improve access to healthcare, promoting self-sufficiency and strengthening families.

Commitment to Youth

Books for Kids Since 1990 we have sponsored a program in our local schools which helps purchase reading books for local school libraries.
Local Daycare In 1992 we established a local non-profit day care facility for our employees, and continue to invest in its success.
4-H MoveIt has been a loyal supporter of our local 4-H chapters. 4-H has grown into a community of 6 million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H can be found in every county in every state, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and over 80 countries around the world. 4-H'ers participate in fun, hands-on learning activities. www.4-h.org

Health and Wellness

American Cancer Society - Relay for Life
Since 1994 we have sponsored a Relay for Life team to raise money for the American Cancer Society. In 2004 those efforts took on a greater meaning when two of our co-workers lost their lives to cancer. Today our efforts are dedicated to their memories. In 2009 our county raised the most money, per capita, of any Relay for Life team, and our team was awarded the Spirit Award.

Environmental Stewardship

We have always had a strong commitment to both the local and global environment - from underwriting the construction of a local conservation education center, to building a new, sustainable, state-of-the-art office building. We have sponsored a local countryside trail for walking and biking, planted trees, and supported nationwide conservation groups.

Our paperless initiative started in June of 2005. MoveIt developed a paperless initiative to reduce paper usage. Steps planned included, development of an electronic order system, use of a document scanning system and digital filing system. By March 2010, overall paper usage was reduced by more than 60 percent.

Raccoon River Watershed Association Air and water quality are very important to us and we are active in the RRWA, a group committed to improving the water quality of the Raccoon River Watershed.
Pheasants Forever Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.
Ducks Unlimited MoveIt supports Ducks Unlimited, the world leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation. Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation The Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, a non-profit conservation group, has helped protect more than 100,000 acres of prairies, wetlands, woodlands, greenways, trails and river corridors.
